Digital Marketing Executives

A fantastic opportunity to join SLC, a young, ambitious, online language education company and play a vital role in our growth and success. You’ll have responsibility for implementing our marketing plan including content generation, brand building, video production and lead generation.

Over the last four years, SLC has become the UK’s leading provider of digital English language training services to the global healthcare sector. Our services enable thousands of medical professionals around the world to work, travel, study and communicate with each other in English, the lingua franca of medicine. In the UK, our online training and self-study courses enable nurses and doctors to pass the exams they need to work in the UK and elsewhere, providing critical support to the NHS at a time of severe shortages.

Our clients include NHS Trusts, private healthcare groups and overseas medical universities and nursing colleges. We have strong growth plans, both in the UK and overseas, and have a number of new study products in development.

About the role
You will join small but growing team at the SLC Head Office at the Sussex Innovation Centre on the Sussex University campus in Falmer, Brighton, and will also work with our remote employees and associates around the world. There are excellent train and bus links as well as dedicated on-site parking.

A content-led role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Implement content-driven B2B and B2C campaigns to generate B2B leads and B2C sales via free and paid channels
• Grow and maintain audience for that content across all channels
• Plan, research and create new content for multiple marketing channels (website, email, social, blog, video, paid)
• Create and proof associated copy
• Manage social media accounts to create and increase engagement
• Use analytics to maximise website conversion and nurture leads
• Maintain regular contact with existing and potential customers
• Contribute to the publication of print collateral, inc brochures and flyers

Must have experience:
• Minimum 2 years in a similar marketing role
• Implementing a marketing strategy across multiple channels, inc video
• Copywriting for web and print
• Growing inbound leads and traffic
• Using metrics to guide marketing activity

Must have skills:
• Understanding what makes a good story
• Ability to drive content ideas and generation
• Excellent copy writing and editing
• Video editing and production
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Competent user of Microsoft Office suite
• Competent user of online databases and cloud-based services

Useful experience:
• Using Hubspot (or similar) sales and marketing tools
• Reporting in Google Analytics
• Working with websites on WordPress or similar CMS
• Marketing to an international audience

Hours: full-time / 3 days a week
Salary – £22 – £25k depending on experience / pro-rata
Start date – asap
